How do you get a job offer? In order to receive a job offer, you must apply for employment opportunities with Atlantic Canadian employers who have been designated by AIP. Each province publishes a list of employers who are allowed to hire foreign nationals through the AIP, which can be found below.

Positions with designated employers can be found by searching Canadian and Nova Scotian job search websites such as explorecareers.novascotia.ca/job search. If you are looking for a position with a designated employer, you are encouraged to apply for advertised vacancies.

The AIPP, in comparison, is a much simpler program. Getting a job offer from an eligible employer is the primary requirement. Once you have the job offer in hand, then fulfilling the other requirements and qualifying for PR is a simple and easy exercise.
